Darrell Gene Clark Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Darrell Gene Clark, 74, of Kenova, WV., husband of Jerri Chapman Clark, died Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at home. He was born July 1, 1947 in Lincoln County, WV, a son of the late Yuel Eugene Nelson and Virdie Clark Workman. Additional family that has preceded him in death have been his step-father who raised him, Herbert Workman; a baby, Roger Allen Clark; granddaughter, Tiffany Renee Jackson; a sister, Carolyn Sue Smith; and twin brothers, Gary and Terry Workman. He was a retired coal truck driver. Darrell enjoyed trading trucks, motorcycles, and cars, and enjoyed working on them to get ready for the trades. He was a member of American Legion Post 139, Milton, who will be preforming military rites. In addition to his wife, Jerri, survivors include his four daughters, Christina McCallister and husband, Herman McCallister of Milton, Angela Jackson and John "Coop" Cooper of Milton, Dreama Workman and husband, Kevin Workman of Huntington, and Paulette Clark of Huntington; a son, Darrell Eugene Clark and Debbie Talbert of Huntington; two sisters, Alice June Smoot of Lucasville, OH, and Kathy Faye Hensley and husband, Jerry Hensley of Lavalette, WV; a brother, Eddie Workman and wife Terry Sizemore Workman of Milton; nine grandchildren, Ashley Thomas, Jerri Jackson, Charity Conner, Stacey Sowards, Zach McCallister, Christopher Clark, Darrell Mason Clark, Klobie Clark, and Jordan Clark; 14 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted 6:00 pm Monday, June 6, 2022 at Chapman's Mortuary. Friends may visit after 5:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
