Jacqueline Sue Ferguson, 78, of Huntington, widow of Richard Allen Ferguson, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 PM Friday at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor Delbert Dixon officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born April 8, 1943 in Huntington a daughter of the late Raymond Jack Smith and Sue Bias Lloyd. Jacqueline also had a daughter, Alicia Ferguson; a son, Mark Ferguson; and a brother, Raymond Jack Smith precede her in death. She was a school counselor for the state of West Virginia, and belonged to the First Huntington Christian Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School class since she was 21 years old. Survivors include her three sons and two daughters-in-law, Leslie and Taleen Ferguson of Huntington, Phillip Ferguson of Huntington, and Keith and Toni Ferguson of Huntington; a sister and brother-in-law, Maryann and Robert Christian of Huntington; a very special friend, Rhonda White of Barboursville; 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
