James Homer "Jim" Stokley

August 20, 1957 - December 27, 2021

James Homer "Jim" Stokley, 64, of Ona, husband of Susan Ellis Stokley, passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 in St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born August 20, 1957 in Logan, WV, a son of the late Joseph Orus and Lila Louise Lackey Stokley. One sister also preceded him in death. He was a US Airforce veteran and was a district manager for Mobil Link Cellular. Survivors in addition to his wife include: one daughter, Kelley Tull of Deleware; two sons and their spouses, Christopher and Heather Stokley of Deleware, and Edward and Susan Stokley of Ona; four sisters, Becky, Kathy, Theresa and Cindy; 6 grandchildren, Jonathan, McKinley, Drew, Kenneth, Joseph and Lilly. Jim was very active in the Boy Scouts of America serving as scout master and a mentor to many boys in their journey of growing up. He really enjoyed cooking for the scouts, Biscuits and Gravy his specialty. He bragged about being able to feed each boy for 1.79 per meal. He received the Silver Beaver award and numerous other honors during his scouting years. He was loved and will be missed by many. No services are scheduled at this time.
