Martena Ann Cremeans

Martena Ann Cremeans, 62, of Huntington, WV, died Wednesday March 23, 2022 in St. Mary's Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. Martena was born June 18, 1959 in Huntington, WV a daughter of the late, Billy L. Shafer, Sr and Dorothy Edmonds Shafer. She was also preceded in death by a son, Billy Allen Shafer, brother, Johnny Shafer, nephew, Joshua Shafer, niece, Tina Shafer and brother-in-law, Bobby Cremeans. She attended Jesus's Church. Survivors include her husband, Donald Clay Cremeans, Sr., her daughter whom she loved with all her heart, Meia Marie McComas, four siblings, Billy (Michelle) Shafer, Glenda (Joel) Black and Pauletta (Kim) Lewis all of Huntington and Ireta (Joe) Shafer of Ironton, OH, five step-children, Donald, Jr., Wesley, Donny Ray, Chris and Clinton Cremeans, grandchildren, Liam McComas, twins, Kegan and Kasey McComas whom she raised, Cody Allen Shafer, Piper and Bryce McComas, Candace Kansala, Trinity, Dominique, Katelyn, James, Marshall, Payge and Haley, three sisters-in-law, Nancy Cremeans, Terry Hatfield and Alberta (John) Jeffrey, and three brothers-in-law, Jerry (Tina) Cremeans, Odell (Edith) Cremeans and Gary Cremeans, 8 great-grandchildren, three nieces, Dorothy, Emileigh and Kimmy, two nephews, David and Joey, special friends, Cindy Cremeans, and Bonnie Forloine, Carolyn Byrd Williamson and Patrick McComas. The family would like a special thank you to Cindy Cremeans for the wonderful care she gave to Martena for the last month of her life. There will be no services per her request.
